Like a drill sergeant, Joe runs a tight kitchen and sets the bar high for fresh ingredients, chef-driven recipes, quality preparation and unrivalled hospitality. In fact, Joe’s a pretty tough guy to satisfy.
While the rebranding of the restaurant takes Joe’s caricature off of thebuilding, and they took down his cartoon collection, never fear! Crabby Joe lives on and his personality remains the backbone of the restaurant’s brand.
The revitalized brand image is defined by a bold new logo, that delivers a curb appeal and vibe that tells people that something new is happening at Crabby Joe’s. The décor has been elevated with rich tones and textures; but the experience is welcoming, relaxed and unpretentious. The main menu also tells the Crabby Joe’s food story and is peppered with Joe’s usual brand of dry humour.
20 YEARS OF SUCCESS
In 1996, Crabby Joe’s came to life and the franchise launched its first restaurant in Ingersoll. Since then, the booming chain has opened 31 franchises in Ontario from Sarnia all the way to Napanee. The delicious and affordable food, a laidback atmosphere and a friendly (not crabby!) staff are what keep people walking through the door – whether it’s date night, a family lunch, girls’ night, game night or a business meeting among colleagues.
Evolving and adapting over the years, the Crabby Joe’s team is savvy about what needs to be done to excite the marketplace, and acknowledges the changing needs of our guests. The new rebrand is a direct reflection of today’s saturated casual dining segment, and a need to create a defensible restaurant brand that guests will love.
